In this CNIC PhDay edition, we have been fortunate to bring you the scientific image contest, thanks to the generosity of INYCOM, who sponsors this competition by providing 300€ for the best scientific image! Originality is valued!
Image can be up to 5MB, with a size of 1200px wide and 675px tall. Image captions must be included in the image itself. Participants must send the image together with their Twitter username and full name to our email: cnicphday@gmail.com. Deadline is November 19th!
The CNIC PhDay Organizing Committee will perform a preselection and five images will be announced on November 28th and will be move into the final round. The final vote will happen with scientific committee during the CNIC PhDay on November 29th 2024 and only registered attendees will be able to vote. In case of a tie, the nury from the Organization Committee will decide the winner. The most voted image will get 300€, provided by INYCOM.
Only scientific images will be accepted, such as microscopy images, histology, PET scans, etc. Drawings or images unrelated to the scientific field will not be accepted. All pictures should be original and participants should have full rights of the photo sent. This means that pictures that have already been presented in contests or exhibitions or taken from (including but not only) Twitter and other sources won’t be allowed. Also, any creation whose content includes violent, sexist, or racist scenes, or that violates the fundamental human rights will be rejected. Participation in the INYCOM: Immage Contest 2024 implies authorization to publish the photos in CNIC PhDay communication media (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter) crediting the copyright owners. Consequently, CNIC does not assume any liability for the breach of any legal requirements that are collected in this legal disclaimer.
