Let’s make the most out of our CNIC PhDay 2024 Poster Session. All posters in biomedical science field will be considered for our contest and the best ones will receive an exciting recognition!
There will be 3 recognitions, one for each of the 3 best posters: 500€ (minus IVA) for courses, conferences, etc., generously sponsored by Promega, 500€ for purchases in VectorBuilder generously sponsored by the company and an ebook generously sponsored by ThermoFisher. In addition, the three best posters will also receive full access to the Jove platform, generously sponsored by the company.
In order to participate in the poster contest, participants need to send a poster abstract included in the registration form for the event. The abstract should not be longer than 2000 characters without spaces. The deadline for abstract submission is 14th November of 2024 or until registration is full. The abstracts will be reviewed by CNIC PhDay 2024 Organizing Committee, and selected posters will be notified by email before 20th November of 2024.
Selected posters must be printed in A0 size (841 x 1189 mm) in portrait orientation and brought to CNIC the day of the event. There will not be onsite print service. To prevent empty poster boards, please inform us by e-mail before 20th November of 2024 if you are unable to present your poster at the meeting. Posters should be mounted before the start of the event, please consider coming 30 minutes ahead.
Regarding the authors and affiliations, these guidelines must be followed:
- Author names should include last name and first name initial.
- Author names should be separated by commas.
- Author names should be followed by the affiliation in brackets.
- The affiliations should be expressed as a numbered lists of institutions.
Example:
Authors: Pérez P (1), Martínez J (1), Smith J (2), González M (1, 3)
Affiliations:
1. Fundación Centro Nacional de Investigaciones cardiovasculares (CNIC) Carlos III.
2. Centro Nacional de Investigaciones Oncológicas.
3. Instituto de Investigaciones Biomédicas “Alberto Sols”.
Posters will be on display at the CNIC entrance. Authors are requested to be present at their poster during the entire Poster Session indicated in the schedule (check the website for future updates). Material should be removed at the end of the event.
The voting will take place at the day of the event according to the votes of the public (each assistant to the event will vote only once). In case of a tie, the jury from the Organization Committee will decide the winner.
