In this CNIC PhDay edition, we have been fortunate to bring you the scientific image contest, thanks to the generosity of INYCOM, who sponsors this competition by providing 300€ for the best scientific image! Originality is valued! 

Image can be up to 5MB, with a size of 1200px wide and 675px tall. Image captions must be included in the image itself. Participants must send the image together with their full name to our email: phday@cnic.es. Deadline is November 15th!

All images will be shown on November 28th. The final vote will happen in person during the CNIC PhDay on November 28th 2025 and only registered attendees will be able to vote. In case of a tie, the jury from the Organization Committee will decide the winner. The most voted image will get 300€, generously sponsored by INYCOM.

Only scientific images will be accepted, such as microscopy images, histology, PET scans, etc. Drawings or images unrelated to the scientific field will not be accepted. All pictures should be original and participants should have full rights of the photo sent. This means that pictures that have already been presented in contests or exhibitions or taken from (including but not only) X (former Twitter) and other sources won’t be allowed. Also, any creation whose content includes violent, sexist, or racist scenes, or that violates the fundamental human rights will be rejected. Participation in the INYCOM: Image Contest 2025 implies authorization to publish the photos in CNIC PhDay communication media (Instagram, Facebook, X) crediting the copyright owners. Consequently, CNIC does not assume any liability for the breach of any legal requirements that are collected in this legal disclaimer.
