For this edition of CNIC PHDay, we’re thrilled to bring back the Scientific Image Contest—thanks to the generous support of INYCOM! They are sponsoring this competition with a €300 prize for the best scientific image. Show us proof that when science doesn’t work, at least it looks pretty under a microscope!!!
Rules & Submission Guidelines
- Registration: Participants must be registered for CNIC PhDay 2026.
- Submission Method & Deadline: Send an original scientific image along with your full name to the organizing committee at phday@cnic.es by Sunday, November 15, 2026.
- Image Format & Specifications:
- Maximum file size: 5 MB
- Dimensions: 1200 px (width) × 675 px (height)
- Caption: The title or explanatory caption must be embedded directly within the image itself.
- Eligible Content: Only genuine scientific images (such as microscopy imagery) will be accepted. Drawings, illustrations, or non-scientific images are not eligible.
- Copyright & Originality: Participants must hold full copyrights to their submitted images. Images previously entered into other contests, exhibited elsewhere, or sourced from social media/other platforms will not be accepted. Any content featuring violent, sexist, racist, or human rights-violating material will be automatically disqualified.
- Usage & Disclaimer: By participating in the CNIC PHDay 2026 Scientific Image Contest, participants grant permission for their images to be published across CNIC PHDay communication channels (Instagram, X, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.), with proper copyright attribution. CNIC assumes no liability for any non-compliance with the legal requirements outlined in this notice.
